Kay Ramey
Kay Ramey is an Assistant Professor of Learning Sciences and Educational Psychology. Her research examines how young people organize their own learning and how to design spaces and activities that allow them equitable access to do so. She leads the WI4LD Research Group, which studies Informal, Interest-driven, Interdisciplinary, and Inclusive Learning and Design in the Wild (i.e., outside of the lab, in real world learning environments). She has expertise on distributed perspectives on thinking and learning, design-based research methods, and qualitative research methods, such as interviews, video-ethnography, and interaction analysis.
