Visit the Main Library Gallery for a special pop-up display with Government Information Librarian Ellen Wrede!

American conservationist Jay N. "Ding" Darling cared deeply about the country's nature and wildlife, and the United States government has produced many posters and publications over the decades that highlight the importance of conservation. Discover posters by preeminent artist Charley Harper that illuminate some of America's gorgeous national parks, along with picture books about the environment, comics, and more.

Drop by any time between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to learn about the Government Information collection, see unique materials, and take away a coloring page courtesy of the U.S. Government Publishing Office and the U.S. Department of the Interior!

While visiting the pop-up display, check out the fall exhibition: It’s Been Wonderful Knowing You: Wildlife Conservation and Advocacy Through the Lens of Jay N. “Ding” Darling. All are welcome.
